Empowerment through adversity can give your your power back, you just need to trust yourself.
You know yourself better than anyone. No one can possibly know everything that is truly right for you. You must trust your gut feeling otherwise known as your intuition. We all have it, some access and pay attention to it more than others. When you listen to what your inner self is telling you, it will always lead you to what is right for you, whatever it may be. It may lead you to lessons to be learned for your own personal growth or it may lead you on a path in which you are divinely called to serve.
There are many times you may be persuaded to choose what others want or think is best for you. By placing your power into someone else's hands and not listening or trusting in yourself, you set yourself up for failure and take a longer journey only to find yourself back to the original feeling of what is right for yourself.
An excellent example of trusting in oneself is when I was told by doctors that my mysterious debilitating illness was 'in my head'. I briefly entertained the idea but knew they were wrong. I used hypnosis to access my subconscious mind to find that I was right, the doctors hadn't found it yet an it started with the letter 'M'. I listened to myself because I knew myself better than anyone. It took five more years until I finally discovered the answer of it being mercury poisoning. Imagine what it would have been like if I believed in them and not myself. I assure you I would not be alive today to help others.
Believe in yourself and know you hold infinite power within yourself. Learn how to effectively access it, use it, and let the rest unfold .

So remember, when life gives you lemons you may choose to be a sour puss or choose to make lemonade. Other than God and his universe, you and you alone choose what comes to fruition. Imagine each and every one of us doing and having whatever we want in life. Really! People have known this secret law of manifestation for centuries, going back as far as the beginning of civilization. You choose your beliefs, thoughts and actions, no one else. Do you want quality of life? A life of love, happiness, prosperity, success and magnificent dreams that come true? Or do you want something mediocre or worse, an unfulfilled life that is meaningless? I invite you to commit to living the life of your dreams!
I am the perfect example of how this works. If I believed the doctors that told me that my illness was “in my head”, when all along it was mercury poisoning, I would not be here to tell my story in order to help others. Nor, would I be able to pass this important information along to others so, they too, can be a positive force in life, however, they choose to do so. This information can be applied to any aspect of one's life, be it personal power, relationships, business, finances, health, community or spirituality.

No,no,no….not a player like the one who cheats on his spouse. That's a whole different subject. I mean the player on the golf course!
Tiger Woods has used his secret weapon to blow the competition out of the water and be one of the best golfers in the world
Tiger's focus, concentration and unshakeable confidence far surpass most anyone on the tour. You can see it every time he plays. He honed these skills at a very young age and became the master of it giving him the leading advantage over the rest of the competition.
Golfers ask me, what's his secret and how does he do it? The answer is simple, he focuses on playing the mental game of golf and not so much on the mechanics of the game. He uses his own mental power to unlock his personal greatness.
He uses his ability to access his mind to get him into the most crucial spot he needs to be, 'The Infinity Zone'.
'The Infinity Zone' is the space between thoughts. It is the state of mind which is uncluttered, limitless, and where the impossible is possible to achieve. Obstacles are nonexistent here. This is the place where you want to be when you are playing.
Tiger routinely programs his mind to react specifically to his environment, circumstances and conditions. He eliminates any obstacle or distraction by shifting his mindset to a whole different level.
Currently in his game it is clear he hasn't been making the shift so easily. This illustrates how stress off the course effects you on the course. Even the best players need to practice staying in 'The Infinity Zone'.

Rising Above It! in Vogue
Paging through the September issue of Vogue I stumbled upon an article written by the chief editor, Anna Wintour, titled Rising Above It. I said in jest, 'Wow, I'm in Vogue, how did they ever find me?' As it turns out it was about me, and it was about you too!
With today's economy in the trenches, everyone including the icons of fashion are feeling the challenges at some level. How apropos to have Hollywood hottie Halley Berry grace the Vogue magazine cover. The article acknowledges the roller coaster ride Halley had been on since the making of the award winning hit, Monster's Ball. Some might think the grass is greener for those on the other side, the truth is, each and every one of us experience adversity on all levels. How many times have you known or heard of the person who seemed to have it all together only to find out they had been going through treacherous times?
Adversity is part of life, no one gets a free pass, ever! Big or small you have to go through hardship. Adversity helps you to grow, learn and stretch yourself to breakthrough to places you never thought you could go. And as the old saying goes, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.
As a leading adversity breakthrough expert I suggest to you, accept the road to have bumps, potholes and bridges that fall out. You can choose to fall into them or rise above and create another path to keep you moving forward in your life.
